Organic Houjicha for Latte, Unsweetened (100g)
Our organic houjicha powder has a nice aroma, with a gentle mellow taste. In fact, a handful of our customers in Japan visit our Wazuka store specifically for our houjicha. This pack is ideal for true hōjicha lovers who enjoy its comforting taste as part of their everyday routine.
How to Brew
Latte: Sift 4g of houjicha into your bowl. Add 30ml of water and whisk in circular motions until smooth and clump-free, forming a thick paste. Gently add 20ml of hot water and whisk in a “W” motion until you achieve a creamy consistency and a fine foam appears.
To finish, lightly glide your whisk across the surface to smooth the texture and break large bubbles, then lift it gently from the center.
For an iced latte, pour 100ml of your desired milk into a glass with ice. For a hot latte, steam 100ml of your desired milk into a mug.
Pour your prepared houjicha over your milk, mix, and enjoy!
How to Store
Keep your houjicha stored in an airtight container in a cool, dark place away from humidity and light. For best flavor, consume within about six months of shipping.
